As our Highland Division continues to grow, we're delighted to be supporting another exciting opportunity within the infrastructure and energy sector.
We're looking for an experienced Environmental Advisor or Environmental Manager to join a major infrastructure project in Alness.
This is a hands-on role working closely with construction and project teams, helping to ensure environmental standards, legislation and best practice are embedded across the project.
What will you be doing?
- Providing environmental advice and support to project teams
- Carrying out site inspections and environmental audits
- Managing environmental risks and compliance
- Supporting ecological mitigation and biodiversity
- Managing environmental permits, consents and licences
- Supporting water management and pollution prevention
- Dealing with contaminated land and waste management
- Supporting environmental incident investigations
- Working with external ecology and environmental consultants
- Helping develop environmental and sustainability improvement plans
What are we looking for?
You'll ideally have:
- A degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Ecology, Environmental Management or a related subject
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation
- Experience across ecology, biodiversity, permitting, water management, contamination or waste
- Knowledge of SEPA and environmental regulations
- Understanding of ISO 14001
We're open to Advisor through to Manager level, so if you're a Senior Environmental Advisor or experienced Environmental Specialist ready to take the next step, we'd also love to hear from you.
IEMA/ISEP membership would be advantageous.
