Financial Controller | Fort William, Scottish Highlands | Up to 15% Bonus | Relocation Support Available

The Role
As Financial Controller, you'll be the financial heartbeat of the Lochaber site - leading the transactional finance team, producing monthly management accounts, overseeing cashflow forecasting and working closely with senior leadership to drive better decision-making across the business. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role reporting to the Commercial Manager, with a genuine opportunity to shape financial processes and systems for the better.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and developing the on-site transactional finance team
- Preparing monthly management accounts, quarterly reporting and annual statutory accounts
- Managing weekly cashflow forecasting and daily cash requirements for the site
- Budget and forecast preparation and ongoing development
- Building strong relationships with senior managers and external auditors
- Driving continuous improvement across financial systems, reporting and processes
- Acting as the main point of contact for external auditors
What We're Looking For
- ACCA, CIMA or CA qualified
- Proven experience in a similar Financial Controller or senior finance role
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax and regulatory requirements
- Advanced Excel skills — Microsoft Dynamics experience is a bonus
- A natural communicator who can translate financial data into meaningful business insight
- Self-motivated, commercially minded and comfortable working autonomously
The Package
- Competitive salary
- Up to 15% performance bonus
- Sign-on bonus equivalent to 1 month's salary
- 3+ months' rent paid if relocating

Working Hours
Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–4:00pm (flexible to 8:30am–5:00pm)
Friday: 7:30am–12:30pm
