Logistics Coordinator
📍 Perthshire (hybrid once trained)
🕒 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
NT Engineering & Manufacturing is working with a well-known Scottish manufacturer that supplies all the major UK retailers. They're looking for a Customer Logistics Coordinator to join their Supply Chain team.
This is a great role for someone early in their career who wants to learn logistics properly. Once an order has been agreed with the customer, you make it happen. You'll process it, book it in with the haulier and warehouse, and make sure it lands at the depot on time. The day to day follows a routine, but no two days are quite the same.
What you'll be doing
- Processing and amending customer orders so they're ready for collection and delivery on time
- Booking loads with hauliers, third party warehouses and customer depots
- Tracking deliveries and sorting out any issues that come up
- Building good working relationships with hauliers and 3PLs, including regular catch up calls
- Handling haulage information, purchase orders and invoices
- Keeping trackers up to date and helping monitor On Time In Full performance
What they're looking for
You don't need years of logistics experience. What matters most is that you're organised, reliable and keen to learn. This could suit you if you've got a background in:
- Freight forwarding, transport or logistics admin
- Order processing or customer service
- Admin or technical admin in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- A recent degree, with a real interest in supply chain
You'll need to be comfortable with Microsoft Office and confident learning new systems. Full training is given on their systems. You'll also need to be comfortable on the phone and happy to get stuck in as part of a close team.

You'll be on site full time while you train, so you'll need to be able to commute to Perthshire reliably.
