Are you an experienced Production Planner looking for your next opportunity with a large, forward-thinking organisation with a focus on sustainability? We are recruiting on behalf of our client to join their business on a temporary ongoing basis as a Production Planner - this is to join a large process plant environment into a business heavily invested in sustainability and genuinely one of the best environments in the sector to work in.
This is a temporary, ongoing role, offering a great hourly rate for the right person who can hit the ground running. Immediate availability is essential.
The Role
As Production Planner, you'll play a key role in keeping the site running smoothly, balancing customer requirements against site capability day to day. You'll be responsible for:
- Ensuring production plans are operationally, logistically and financially achievable
- Managing Work in Progress (WIP) planning and coordinating material and feedstock requirements
- Coordinating transport needs and ensuring transport compliance
- Working closely with Operations, Maintenance and Stores teams to balance customer requirements with site capability
- Monitoring and adjusting plans in response to changes in demand, plant availability or feedstock supply
- Participating in problem countermeasure activities relating to planning performance
- Working collaboratively across Operations, Business Development and Finance
What We're Looking For
- Proven production planning experience, ideally within a process, manufacturing or similar site environment
- Confidence coordinating across multiple teams — Operations, Maintenance, Stores, Business Development and Finance
- A practical, adaptable approach to changing demand and supply conditions
- Immediately available or on a very short notice period
